| posted 05-16-11 05:37 PM EDT (US) Hello fellas, I came here to ask you something: I have a widescreen monitor (a 1280x800 laptop monitor) and I did managed to find some patches to run AoE2 and SWGB: The Clone Wars in widescreen. However, for some strange reason, I couldn't find any patch for the original game. I even tried editing some files of the widescreen patch for the expansion found over at widescreengamingforums but to no avail. Can anybody here help a player that wants to start playing this again? I only have the original game (if I manage to complete the game I'll try to get the expansion) and the only patch that I found was for the expansion. If there isn't any patch for the original, can someone redirect me to the maker of the patch? Maybe I could ask him/her to make a version for the original game since it doesn't look like a big hassle to do it. |

If it was unofficial, most download sites have user names attached, and you might be able to track him or her down from there. | posted 05-17-11 02:42 PM EDT (US) 5 / 11 It was an unofficial patch. I just sent an e-mail to the creator of the patch for the expansion. If I do find a way to make the original game work in widescreen, I'll make sure to post it here for future reference. |

And also some black lines appear after changing resolution within the game. Working Full HD version: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7670706/SWGBWide/1920x1080.rar So can anyone make a fix to change start screen and other menu screens resolution to Full HD? |
